DATES	INVESTIGATION PHASES
5/9/09 1pm - 5pm	Preinvestigation Interview with the Innkeepers Fred and Sandra   ParaPatrol arrived at the Inn at 1pm and interviewed the Innkeepers. We learned that the most paranormal activity occurs in Rooms 4, 7, 8 and 9. Guests have sighted a black cat in Rooms 7 and 9, Some guests see the cat leave the room and disappear through the wall and other guests simply let the cat outside and later inform the Innkeepers, "Your black cat was in our room and we let it outside." Of course, the Innkeepers do not own a black cat.  Another guest reported seeing a young woman wearing a white nightgown in her room during the middle of the night. The guest said to the woman: "You are in the wrong room." The woman placed her finger to her lips and said, "Shhhh" and then vanished into thin air. Housekeepers have heard young female voices in Room 7 and 9. Perfume bottles have been reported to move from one room to another. Footsteps are heard where there is no one and rocking chairs rock on their own.   Setup of Equipment and Preliminary Evaluation   We performed baseline temperture and EMF reading in Rooms 4, 7, 8, and 9. We noted on our floor plans where EMF readings were obtained due to the presence of electrical equipment. Preliminary EMF and temperature readings were routine except in Room 9 where we encountered an EMF reading on our Trifield meter of 6 milligauss where just minutes before the reading was zero. The EMF spike stayed steady at 6 in an area of approximately 5 square feet, notably just over the bed and on either side of the bed. Because this was an unexpected spike that stayed constant, we suspected that the Trifield meter was malfunctioning so we left the room with meter and the needle dropped to zero. Upon re-entering Room 9 the needle spiked back up to 6 milligauss and stayed constant for approximately 30 seconds and then dropped to zero. Photos were taken during this time and and EVP session was immediately performed in Rm 9.  Rooms 7, 8 and 9 are all in the same wing. There are no other rooms in that wing. Room 4 is in a different wing of the Inn. IR cameras were positioned in Rooms 7, 8, and 9. Another was placed looking down the stairway from Rooms 7 ,8 and 9. A game camera (used for hunting) was positioned in Room 4 facing the rocking chair. Due to the high EMF reading in Room 9 we ran a video camera positioned on the trifield meter and a K2 meter while we went out for dinner. We also placed the ping pong ball on the carpeted floor in Room 9. A small perfume bottle was placed on the bureau in Room 7.
5/9/09	Investigation   Room 7:   Kevin placed a ping pong ball on the carpeted floor behind the chair near the foot of the right hand side bed. Jayne started the video camera to record. Kevin noticed the ping pong ball was gone. Jayne and Kevin searched the area but could not find it. Jayne was going to radio the other team when the walkie talkie would not work and at the same time the video camera which was set ot "record" went to "standby". Room 9:  No unusual activity observed during the investigation. We did not obtain abnormal EMF reading during the investigation in Room 9. EVPs were captured. Room 8: No unusual activity observed during the investigation. EVPs were captured.
5/17/09	Analysis We took 568 digital still photos, approximately 4 hours of video, 4 hours of IR video and 4 hours of audio. The video, digital still photos, and game camera were all negative for paranormal anomalies.
